“By the grace of the gospel, we are living and building a Jesus community so Santa Cruz would know the eternal hope found only in the gospel. By His grace, we are here and invited into a beautiful life of service to Him and others. On the one hand, serving Jesus and others comes naturally when we are in relationship to Him and His Holy Spirit indwells us. Yet, on the other hand, the temptations to self-centeredness, comfort, and complacency can creep into hearts and strangle out true gospel motivations. We must be constantly ‘weeding out’ the dandelions of ungodly motives, and returning to the true seed of Biblical motivation in all that we do with our lives.

As we walk through this season, I pray for personal revival and corporate transformation. It all starts with worship vertically, then flows out horizontally in service. As we ‘hear’ the Word, may we be inspired to ‘do’ the Word! Please pray for our ministry leadership team, and for our congregation that our heart for service will exponentially grow.

Stay after service to share a meal and build relationships with others. We will be having Hawaiian Deli Sandwiches & Chips.
We received a donation to cover the entire lunch for this week for everybody. Any of the lunch donations for this week will go towards helping people in Ukraine.
